Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING RATES & SERVICES C’est la Vie Children’s Couture via the US Postal Service's Priority Mail and UPS International. All packages shipped within the United States will have a delivery notification to ensure guaranteed delivery. Next-Day Shipments are also available via Express Mail. While we ship US Priority Mail and try to ship your items as quickly as possible (usually the next day), please allow 4 to 7 days for receipt of your package. This time frame allows us to process, package and mail your item.
Should you require your item faster, feel free to send us a note and we will try our best to accommodate you! Overnight or Express Delivery is available  for an additional charge.  The table below is an estimate of US Priority Mail in the US.

Customers are responsible for international duties, taxes, and refused shipping charges. Please understand we have no control over these charges and therefore cannot predict what they may be. Please also note that all items purchased as a "gift" will still state the original cost of the item on all customs forms as we are required to state the value of the gift directly on the package. 
 
Special Orders
If you are unable to find a style or size needed our website, please feel free to contact us about placing a special order. Special orders are items ordered specifically for our C’est la Vie clients and therefore are nonreturnable or refundable. Some items may be exchanged for store credit based solely at the discretion of CLV Boutique.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO Addresses. 
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICYWe at C’est la Vie Couture personally hand select each item with our customers in mind. We are confident you will be pleased with your purchase. However if you are not completely satisfied, you may return your items within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or refund.
(All return and/or exchange shipping charges are nonrefundable.) 

If making an exchange, we recommend you place a new order for the item you would like to exchange online to ensure availability of the item, and return the original item for credit back to your account. 

The returns are subject to the following conditions.

  • Return requests must be made and postmarked within 14 days from date of order. 
  • Personalized or sale items are not returnable.  Special request items ordered specifically for you may not be returned or exchanged. These items are all considered final sales.
  • All returns require an authorization number and original receipt. Kindly send an email to cestlaviecouture@bellsouth.net requesting the return. Please note the reason for the return. C’est la Vie Children’s Couture will reply with an authorization number and instructions. 
  • Return Authorization number and original receipt must be included inside the box. 
  • When trying on clothes, please remember ALL original tags must be attached. NO EXCEPTIONS. The item must be unworn and in new condition and all original packaging included (hanger, plastic garment bag, shoe box, etc.) must be returned. Please package the item to protect from harm while shipping as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged while in transit to us.
  • Shipping costs associated with free or discounted shipping will apply to returned items.

MAILING YOUR RETURN PACKAGE  Please use a shipping method that may be tracked and is insured. We cannot be responsible for non-receipt of returns that cannot be tracked, nor can we confirm receipt of a return/exchange until it has been processed. Returns and/or exchanges are processed within 14 days of the date we receive the item(s). Credit will be issued to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. A credit or shipment notification e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address on file at the time the credit or exchange is processed.

Please note the following cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged: Original Shipping costs or Special Orders. 
 
We're glad to exchange sale merchandise for size but will assess a re-shipping fee.
